Are you tried of getting calls to update this or change that from computers or that annoying silent pause as the computer transfers you to a telemarketer?
Well this app was designed to disconnect that annoying call.
Approtect is currently designed to only allow calls from people that are on your contacts list.
What the app does is compare the call to your contact list, if there is no match the call is disconnected.
If there is a match the call is allowed to go through and ring your phone.
Future updates will allow for only certain area codes or states to make it pass Approtect.
So that way you are not blocking local calls from someone you may not have on your contacts list.Are you a celebrity or high ranking official, maybe someone who is very popular, owns a successful business, if your number gets out to the public do you have to get a new number, not any more.
Give your number out to anybody you want, Approtect will not allow the call thru so no more having to change numbers all the time.
You can mute the phone and texting for a period of time without having to remember to turn it back on.
Go see the movie mute the phone for 2 hours when the movie is over you don't have to remember to turn the phone and texting back on the timer will do it for you.
Future updates will include texting blocking, just like phone blocking, but for your texts.
Connect your airplane mode to your actual flight number.
Blocking you from calling out, or calling certain numbers( ie old boyfriend after a few cocktails) and other ways to help you only receive calls/texts from people you want to, it is your phone don't let the robocalls and sales people eat up your minutes.
Privacy is a big issue with Approtect we firmly believe in individuals right to privacy, so that is why we only access the phone numbers listed in your contacts.
We don't download, save, move or read your contacts list.
The program accesses the contact list phone numbers only and if there is a match then the call gets through.
Once the program reads the numbers from the contact list the number is dropped and is not used.again until a new call is received.
